When I was doing some study on the best Canon printer I came over the Canon Pixma Mx870. This an ink-jet printer that has lots of cool gadgets that other printers may not have. The Canon Mx870 is a full functional printer, as it has a 9600 x 2400 dpi which means that the smallest photo would have the best detail.
The Pixma Mx870 uses an independent 5 color ink system. The color cartridges are dye based ink, which consist of cyan, yellow, magenta, and a black and a pigment based black. With this compound it prints phenomenal beautiful laser potential text and photo's.
Wireless Printer Setup
Wireless printers like the Mx870 requires a router which in turn will set it up in a network so other computers will have way to the printer. This Canon photo ink-jet printer can be linked directly to your computer with a Usb 2.0 if you're not computer savvy. The setup was very easy as I tried it using Xp, Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. These wireless printers work flawlessly, never having interruptions. This Canon Mx870 is the exquisite workhorse as it can print, copy, fax, and scan.

The Auto Photo Fix Ii that's built into the printer is awesome making the print potential even better. When I printed a photo from my 8 mega-pixel camera it was one of the best I have ever seen. Every photo that was printed, remarkable for the best photo quality.
